Legal Notice and Terms

1. Bookings and Cancellations

• Bookings are confirmed once you reply in writing (by email or message) to accept your quote.
• Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes to your appointment.
• Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at 100%
• We reserve the right to decline a booking based on availability or other operational reasons.

2. Access to Property

• The client is responsible for ensuring that our team can access the property at the agreed time.
• If access is not possible and the job cannot be carried out, a call-out fee may be charged.

3. Services Provided

• Services will be carried out as agreed in your individual quote or service schedule.
• Any changes to scope (e.g. additional rooms or tasks) should be discussed and agreed prior to the visit, and may incur additional charges.
• We will carry out work to a professional standard, but please raise any issues within 24 hours of the clean so we can resolve them promptly.

4. Health and Safety

• Our team will bring appropriate cleaning products and equipment unless agreed otherwise.
• If you have pets or special requirements (e.g. allergies, specific products), please notify us in advance.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe for staff.

5. Payments

• Standard cleaning services: Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
• End of tenancy cleans: 50% payment is due upon agreement of services, balance on day of work.
• Invoices will be issued by email. We accept payment by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
• Late payments may result in service being paused or a late fee being applied.

6. Liability

• Hobbs Cleaning Services holds appropriate public liability insurance.
• We will take care with your property, but please notify us of any valuable or fragile items in advance.
• We are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear and tear that becomes visible during cleaning.

7. Privacy

• We respect your privacy and will only retain necessary information for providing services and maintaining records.
• Client data will not be shared with third parties without permission, unless legally required.
